I received an e-mail from a friend today that had a link to a video by two Time Magazine photographers who covered President Bush for his eight-year administration. I was really surprised at the tone of the video and even more startled by my reaction to it.
As I watched it, to my dismay and embarrassment, I started crying. I've been very angry about Obama and his thugs and their ham-fisted methods, but watching this video made me cognizant of another emotion. Underneath the anger, I am profoundly sad that we have a president who doesn't seem to even like this country very much, a president who feels he has to apologize for the United States every time he sets foot on foreign soil. I'm still angry at the incredible arrogance of this man and his associates, but also sadly convinced that he won't protect our beloved country.
I don't even listen to Obama anymore. I have come to the realization that I don't believe anything he says, so why bother? I am, however, closely watching what he does and I will continue to do whatever I can to fight his dangerous agenda.
